100’s Day

Posted by on February 16, 2014

This week we made the 100’s Day mark at school. In Kindergarten we had a day of fun as we celebrated. Each of the students brought in a collection of 100 things, we did a number hunt around the classroom and we shared our 100 cookies with the rest of the elementary school. It was a super fun day together.

One of my personal highlights was from the grade 1 & 2’s writers workshop. These classes were writing on where they thought the staff would be when they were 100 years old. Here is one of the ones posted in the staff room. Just as a side note, I am not crazy….yet!

This week was also an encouraging week for Stacy as he became a hero by putting up new swings. The delights and the squeals from the playground this week were very satisfying.

To end this already exciting week we wrapped it up with a Valentine’s Dinner for the single ladies on Friday night. It was a fantastic week!
