Turkey

Posted by on April 13, 2014

It has been a fantastic week. Last night we arrived back from a  week long conference in Antalya Turkey. It was fantastic.

We loved the cooler temperatures most of the time, we loved dipping our toes into the Mediterranean sea. Some were brave enough to swim too.

The food seemed endless and I enjoyed not having to cook or clean. We reconnected with friends from two year ago and the girls made new friends.

We enjoyed a visit to Old Town Antalya as well as Perge and Apsendos, where we enjoyed some ancient history. We laughed. We worshipped. We had good nourishment for the soul. We enjoyed water pressure and the ability to control water temperatures. We loved the sweet smell of the jasmine trees and the flowers that were all around. The colours were all so amazing. Oh, and lets not forget the pools!

Now we are back to reality and have arrived back to temperatures in the low 40s and two power cuts today. Only 7 weeks of school left. We are believing for strength and thankful hearts now as we plunge ahead.

Thank you for your amazing support. Our family was blessed in so many ways by being able to attend this conference.
